Israeli forces surrounded the Askar refugee camp in the east of Nablus and used bulldozers to demolish a house in the camp. They surrounded a housed arrested four members of one family, claiming that they are "wanted." An elderly woman died of a heart attack because of the intensive shooting in which two other Palestinians were also injured. According to medical sources in Nablus hospital, the 70-year old woman, Um Khalil, died following a heart attack brought on by the severity of the Israeli shelling and gunfire around her house. A Palestinian youth, Omar Al Ordoni, 18, was injured by a rubber bullet during the confrontation in the camp while a young girl was injured by shrapnel from a missile. Her identity is not yet known. Eyewitnesses reported that a large contingent of Israeli troops entered Nablus and moved towards the Askar refugee camp. They surrounded and demolished the home of the An Nadi family and arrested four members of the family. The arrested family members are Mohamed, Basheer, Nasser and Raghib. The eyewitnesses said that the bulldozers began to demolish the An Nadi family home because they claimed that "wanted" Palestinians were hiding in the house. There was a confrontation between the Israeli forces and Palestinian youth in the camp. Several Palestinian youth were injured and inhaled tear gas released by the Israeli forces. The Israeli army said that the operation was undertaken to arrest wanted Palestinians who were hiding in a house inside the refugee camp.
