The practices of the occupation killed a 45-year-old Nablus resident today, Al Qaisi. The father of eight was returning to his West Bank home after hospitalization in Jerusalem where he receives treatment for liver cancer.

However, Israeli forces would not allow the ill man through Huwara Checkpoint in southern Nablus. They told the man that he was traveling in a car without a permit.

Although Al Qaisi explained to the soldiers that he is in poor health and unable to get out of the car, however this fell on deaf ears. The man was walking across the checkpoint when he collapsed and died.
