5.3 - How do Palestinians view Americans?

Palestinians have extremely positive and welcoming attitudes toward the American people, whose values they admire and share. They are often bewildered by the U.S. government's support of Israel, and apparent hostility toward Palestinian aspirations for equal rights, freedom, and self-determination.
